Fat faces or bloated faces are something that irritate every individual when they wake up every morning
Most are curious to identify what went wrong with their face. More often or not, fat faces are signs of serious health complications and it requires immediate attention. Whenever something goes wrong with your body, it will show on your face, so seek help as soon as possible. Here are some reasons that cause fat faces:
- Poor Diet
Poor diet is one important factor that leads to fat faces. If you don’t have a balanced diet, it can slowly show on your face. Lack of essential nutrients and minerals, namely beta carotene and vitamin C, would cause your face to swell. Excessive intake of carbohydrates, fats and salt is another common cause of face puffiness.
Dehydration is another major cause of facial bloating. Human faces have few areas where excess water is generally stored. Unless you drink sufficient water daily, it can lead to bloating face in the future.
- Alcohol Intake
Consuming too much alcohol also causes your face to become bloated. Any drink that contains alcohol can make your face puffy if you drink excessively without control. This is due to the fact that alcohol makes you feel dehydrated after it enters your system. Control your alcohol intake and you should be fine.
Fat face is another symptom of hypothyroidism, also known as lack of thyroid problem in the human body. This condition results in rapid weight gain and the face becomes fat within short period of time.
